They are not budgies, and are thought to be descendants of the Amazon. Parrotlets have a pleasant chirp, and most have the ability to learn speech. They are considered one of the easiest birds to care for and feed. They are enthusiastically referred to as Pocket Parrots.

– For a little more get the Linda training for kissing, snuggling and riding around on your shoulder or in your pocket. It even lays on it’s back so you can tickle its tummy.
We recommend at least an 18 in square cage for these birds. We also recommend feeding them Roudy Bush Nibles.
